Winter Update Print

Winter is upon us with snow capped mountains and dusky dolphins foraging in Admiralty Bay. Migrating spotted shags are feeding in full breeding plumage in Elmslie Bay. The evening light is stunning, gorgous pinks and mauve as the sun sets behind d'Urville Island.

French Pass Sea Safaris organic garden is getting a makeover and will be producing well by the 1st October (opening day for the comming season).

Kingfish, snapper and groper are consistent at the top of the island. Seabirds have been regular with diving petrels, cape pigeon, mollymawks, white-chinned and westland petrel.
