Brown Booby: Six sightings of a Brown Booby from November shows we have definatly got an overstayer. The DOC Marine Science team photographed the bird sitting with some King Shag. Seems to be quite at home. Seal Pups: Our 'Little Galapagos'is an exciting time for NZ Fur Seal pups.They are just starting to play and take to the water. Very inquisitive and interactive with swimmers. The water is calm and clear providing a special encounter to both seal and visitor. |
